If what she claims is true then (I dont condone this) in a round about way the guy was asking for it. But no matter the outcome... The effective abuser sets conditions up that support his position. The woman was most likely filled with threats born up by example of how he would track her down, harm the children etc. This is not easy to get out of...on top of that, divorce usually demands that you continue to deal with the person over legal matters, increasing the risk to her. Theres two stories to tell here though. On one hand, she could just be a scorned woman after her husbands insurance money, and on the other a battered woman pushed over the edge.. I'll just wait to see what develops, and its obvious she wasnt thinking about her children and the effect of what would be to come as of this. Sometimes women will stay in relationships out of desperation, out of blindness, out of fear, feeling no self worth they hang on to things they "think" they need, so the hang into the abuse, and slip into denial. In situations like these only you can get yourself out of it. But wow, she lured him into the bed tied him up and stabbed him 193 times, in the head in the face, in the chest, as well as other places.. She mustve gone mad. Like I said before who really knows the truth? Hopefully the children can help clarify.
