No quote for this post. Just words.
I just came home from watching Passion of Christ. Wow. I can honestly say, in my entire life, a movie has never impacted me this way. For all you readers out there. No, Im not going to preach my beliefs. Yes I do believe in god. Do I go to church? No. Im gonna go ahead and write a bit here and if religion gives you the willies you have the pleasure of clicking that little x on the top right corner of your screen. This is my journal. I will write what I want, and I am fair, I will let you comment on it if you want, I dont care. Its your choice to ignore it or read on. Religion is soemthing I dont talk about much. I cant tell you to go read the bible, cause I havent, and I cant tell you to pray ever night, cause I dont. I just believe, and to me believing and having my hope contents me enough to keep my faith. Sure there are times when I question my faith. Im sure we all have at some point. I ask myself why some bad things happen to good people and I wonder if there is something or someone out there, then why does this go on? When I can sit back and think about it, and clear my head. Get past the anger and the questions, I know why. But those are my reasons alone. I have never gone to see a movie where so many people have reacted.. Throughout the whole movie no one said a word, complete silence, no crying babies, no teens getting rowdy, no cell phones, dead silence. It was an extremely hard movie to watch. There were many times when I had to look away from the screen. Whenever the scene changed and it was quiet and there was darkness you could here people sniffling, crying.. When it was over.. we all walked out in silence. It was as if we were walking out of a funeral. And in a way we were..
I am not exagerrating when I say this. If you have seen the movie, then you know what I am talking about.
This is a movie I recommend anyone to see, even if you dont believe in god, you should see this. I know atheist who have seen this movie and still told me it was great. My own brother who is, had no words to say about it.
Go see this movie.
For right now..Im just greatful. Maybe tommorrow I wont, but at this moment I am in complete peace.
Goodnight

I share your sentiment . . . It's certainly hard to find things to say about it when you're at such a loss for words. It truly is a beautiful film.

This film really touched me too - I wrote about it on my blog. I have never seen a reaction like this from the audience or from myself about a movie... When you left the theater was everyone so quiet? That happened when I went and people were still crying - I mean it - no one was saying a word -

Its very emotional, very blunt. Tell me what you think about it when your mom takes you, ok?
